Lenny Dykstra's son, 18, a possible first-round draft pick in June

Pretty interesting article in the New York Times last Thursday.

Alan Schwarz writes ...

Cutter Dykstra, merely one inch taller than his 5-foot-10 father, carries the same speedy, hard-nosed hyperactivity to the game. (And the recognizable Dykstra, well, posterior.)

"I love having that name on my jersey," said Cutter, a .444 hitter this spring for the Westlake High Warriors. "I want people to come to watch me play — put pressure on the other team, steal bases and crash into walls. I want people to say, 'Wow, he plays the game just like his dad did.' "

Do the Phillies have the best starting rotation in the National League?

According to Brett Myers, they do.

"Of course, that's my opinion, and nobody's going to care about my opinion," Myers told the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Will Phillies' dismal spring carry over into April?

It's the question on everyone's mind. (Mine, anyway.)

What's Brett Myers' take? "I don't even know what spring training is about."

Lenny Dykstra building reputation ... as investment adviser?

In a bizarre HBO Real Sports interview, Mad Money Jim Cramer says, "I think people don't think of Lenny as sophisticated. But I am telling you, Bernie, that not only is he sophisticated but he's one of the great ones in this business. He's one of the great ones."

Whaaa?
