The PhilliesBlog GameStar goes to Placido Polanco because, even though he was the last out of the game, he was really the only Phillie who did anything somewhat productive without reliance on Diamondback errors. Placido had three hits in the game, including two doubles. Not too shabby.
Rollins also had a double, but that really should have been caught. The rest of his at-bats were really a waste, as is usually the case.
The big pitching duel wasn't exactly as I had expected, but clearly Johnson was the better of the two. Padilla, you'll get a win someday.
Won't you?
