Though the Phils could never have done it without our friend, Mr. Long Ball, GameStar tonight will go to Kevin Millwood. I know his performance wasn't exactly stellar, but he did keep the Cardinals scoreless from the 2nd inning through the 5th, and gave up just seven hits in the game. Not too bad.
As will always be the case on Wednesdays, I missed the game, but heard most of it on the radio. I'm watching the MLB.TV replay right now, but I really don't feel I can speak extensively about the game without having seen it.
But congrats to Byrd for his first HR of the year, and to Bell for allowing us to forgive.
